We are becoming little America, will we see the results like this?

There is no doubt that Mr Howard is turning Australia into little America, especially with support for killing 100's of 1000's of Iraqis and the control that he wants over the general public. We are also seeing a society of poor that is based on the U.S. system of social security.

With welfare increases not even comming close to matching the cost of living increases in dollar terms (percentage doesn't cut it on welfare) and no increase in things like rental assistance even though rents have gone up around 100% in the last few years.

So with this sort of treatment of the poor, they are left with three options go to jail for as long as possible (killing is the best way of securing a roof and food), kill yourself as this person has below or trust in the Lord even if you do die of lack of medical treatment, food and housing then you have faith that those responsible (especially the rich) will be judged for their actions.

But as Australia becomes more and more like America and prohibition of everything becomes more prevalent we will see more of the below in Australia, there is no doubt in my mind.
