I have been yelling for years about the total lack of safety devices for passengers on our commercial airlines. Things like seating that is designed to encapsulate the passenger and designed out of energy absorbing materials would dramatically increase the survival rates in crashes, things like internal fire extinguishing devices, floatation so the plane doesn't sink and the like.
But these so called experts just fob it all off saying they don't have plane crashes and advances in technology prevent planes from crashing.
Well I tell you they can't even get stable programs on our home computers which are pretty basic, so how are they going to develop computer systems and programs that won't fail, especially given the amount of money and research microsoft puts into software design and the airline manufacturers have far less money and resources to develop the planes software and hardware systems.
And the proof of these absolute lying safety people developing these systems and selling them as foolproof:INVESTIGATORS are trying to determine how two new aircraft equipped with the latest anti-collision technology clipped each other in flight, in the worst aviation disaster in Brazil's history, with 155 dead.

We are becoming little America, will we see the results like this?
There is no doubt that Mr Howard is turning Australia into little America, especially with support for killing 100's of 1000's of Iraqis and the control that he wants over the general public. We are also seeing a society of poor that is based on the U.S. system of social security.
With welfare increases not even comming close to matching the cost of living increases in dollar terms (percentage doesn't cut it on welfare) and no increase in things like rental assistance even though rents have gone up around 100% in the last few years.
So with this sort of treatment of the poor, they are left with three options go to jail for as long as possible (killing is the best way of securing a roof and food), kill yourself as this person has below or trust in the Lord even if you do die of lack of medical treatment, food and housing then you have faith that those responsible (especially the rich) will be judged for their actions.
But as Australia becomes more and more like America and prohibition of everything becomes more prevalent we will see more of the below in Australia, there is no doubt in my mind.
A TRUCK driver with a grudge has burst into a Amish schoolhouse and shot dead three bound girls in an ``execution style'' killing spree, shattering the peace of rural Pennsylvania.
In the latest in a bloody string of fatal rampages in US schools, the students were killed when the gunman, apparently bent on exacting vengeance against young girls, lined victims up against a blackboard, and shot them one-by-one.
State Police Commissioner Jeffrey Miller said 32-year-old truck driver Charles Roberts, who was not Amish, killed himself after his reign of terror in the village of Nickel Mines, 35 miles, (55 kilometers) west of Philadelphia.

PEOPLE who commit murder will no longer be able to use drunkenness or ethnicity as a defence, under a major reform of Northern Territory legislation.
Attorney-General Syd Stirling has announced the territory's Criminal Code will be amended to ensure that people who commit murder do not escape the charge by using legal loopholes.
"The amendments will ensure that those who commit murder are convicted of murder," Mr Stirling said.
"Being drunk will no longer be a partial defence to murder, nor will a person's cultural or ethnic background."
Now we just need to get rid of the Safety Institute of Australia members that use alcohol as a defence for not getting qualified and we might actually be regarded as a profession.

James Hardie I told you so!

I told you James Hardie was a criminal organisation and they didn't care about the people they had killed or maimed! In fact they are murders supported by the government which makes the government accomplices to murder but not one of them has faced prosecution for murder.
And with the government turning a blind eye to murder of Australian workers and the public there is no reason to see James Hardie setting up this support fund for those with asbestos related disease in a hurry, as they are earning interest everyday they can avoid it.
And with the federal government supporting these murders I don't think they will do anything to support the worker and this proves they are accomplices to murder becuase they don't protect the majority only the minority in charge of industry.
Just to highlight that I was right:
A FURTHER extension of the deadline for James Hardie's compensation fund for asbestos victims is "flaming annoying", campaigner Bernie Banton has said.
The NSW government and James Hardie Industries have agreed to extend the deadline to finalise a funding deal related to the company's asbestos compensation obligations, from September 30 to October 31.
The deal was thrown into doubt after a tax office ruling in June that the fund, worth up to $4.5 billion over 40 years, could not be treated as a charity for tax purposes.
Classic and all the while James Hardie is making heaps out of the interest from the money put aside and it also gets tax breaks as this is a loss yet they haven't lost anything yet and I doubt whether they will with all the interest and tax breaks.
The Government is actually working at rewarding James Hardie for killing so many workers and members of the public.

Communications a thing of the past for the poor
With Telstra ripping off just about everyone, especially the poor, it is pertinant that the next article is evidence of their lack of care for the downtrodden in our society!
TELSTRA has rejected claims it has a secret plan to remove 8000 pay phones before the next federal election.
Fairfax newspapers yesterday reported that Telstra had a plan to cut as many as 8000 pay phones, as payback for the Government's criticism of the telco.
A Telstra spokeswoman today said the claim was wrong.
"Telstra has no new plans to remove pay phones," the spokeswoman said.
"Telstra communicated all its current plans to the community in February."
Telstra announced in February that it would take away more than 1000 of its 32,000 public pay phones by the start of next year.
Just buttering up the public so after the election they can remove as many as they want! And Mr Howard in his scheming ways is most probably a big part of implementing the plan to remove pay phones by making telstra wait till after the election.
So with our communications systems sold off to overseas interests and Australia at war with at least five countries at the moment, why not give the enemies of the country our communications systems? Makes it easier to be invaded!
But even more concerning from a safety aspect is the switch in the home to electronic cordless phones that don't work with a power outage! And you cannot purchase a standard phone with a cord in many places at all so with a power outage from fire, explosion, natural disaster or invasion/bombing there will be no way of communicating especially when the public phone system doesn't exist anymore.

NSW Road toll proves me right again!
I informed people not that long ago that the road toll would rise dramatically with decreasing fuel prices and that drug testing and other behavioural controls were a complete failure and waste of resources that could be better spent redesigning roads, but that's right the uneducated Safety Institute of Australia bans me becuase of my insight.
As was the case in my last post regarding Victoria, we can now see the effect of lower fuel prices accross the country! SIX people have died on New South Wales roads so far on this long weekend, double the number killed during the same period last year.
The toll rose to six late today when a person died after a head-on collision between two cars in Sydney's south-west at about 4pm (AEST).
This also proves the only improvement in our road toll was due to high fuel prices and less driving, not speed camera's or drug testing! Worse still it shows that speed camera's and drug testing have actually increased the road tolls in their own right!
If we consider all the safety enhancements vehicle manufacturers have made to vehicles has been negated by the pig headed, unqualified safety people influencing road safety and workplace safety implementing fines for minor speeding and drugs that show no increase in risks to drivers.
These fines have actually taken away money that would/could have been spent on keeping their vehicles roadworthy, eg new tyres or brakes!
But then in this society we have to tell these incompetent leaders that they are doing a good job becuase we might hurt their feelings!
Well I tell you this if they can't be bothered proving they are competent in safety with tertiary qualifications, protecting their feelings will only kill more people than they already do!
